The initiative #SucheSicherenRadweg (looking for a safe bike path) by Changing Citiesis protesting for better bike infrastructure in Berlin. We have made a sub-team for urban planning students and are biking along. Join the team!
And how great would it be, if the protest team became the biggest one?! We are biking every day and know: These streets aren’t made for us. We demand safe and continuous bike lanes now – no excuses!
INTRODUCTION WEEK AT ISR
The lecture perios for the winter semester 2025/2026 will presumably start on the 13th of October 2025. The week before that will include the general introduction events for all new TU students.
The specific introduction week for Urban and Regional Planning students will be from 13th to the 17th of October 2025. There will be How-To-Events as well as informal events such as neighborhood walks and a party. As soon as the program is finalized, you will be able to find it here (probably in October).
What is the Projektrat?
The Projektrat is the open student initiative for students of Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Design and the Dual Degree Mobility Master (Buenos Aires). We are a group of students who are actively involved in student life at the university and the organization of various events. Through our work in the Projektrat, we can actively shape the conditions of our studies at institute, faculty and university level.
We focus on projects, campaigns and circumstances that particularly affect us. For example, we organize the allocation of project places and the induction week. The active students on the project council are representatives on various committees at the Technical University of Berlin. In addition, there is intensive networking with students from other planning degree programs.

plenary session
During lecture perios we meet every Monday at 6 pm at Café PlanWirtschaft. The plenary session is open for all interested students. So come by and contribute 🙂
